CelProbe Universal qPCR mix utilises an advanced hot-start polymerase and pre-optimized buffer system for highly specific and sensitive probe-based qPCR detection in single and multiplex assays. The ready-to-use mix performs well on difficult templates (rich n GC/AT content) and gives reproducible, robust amplification of DNA, cDNA and viral DNA targets. It can be used with probes based on various probe principles, including TaqMan®, Scorpions® and molecular beacon probes.

The CelProbe Universal qPCR mix is suitable for simultaneous amplification of multiple targets by increasing specificity and suppressing primer dimer formation during reaction set-up. The carefully balanced buffer contains all components required for successful qPCR, except the template, primers and probes. Fast amplicon extension results in early Ct values.

The qPCR mix is supplied with a separate tube of 50μM ROX dye that may be used with instruments requiring ROX as a passive reference dye. CelProbe Universal qPCR mix is suitable for use on all real time PCR cyclers.

Store the kit at -20°C upon arrival. This product is shipped on ice blocks and can be kept at 4°C for 4 weeks without affecting the product performance. Full enzyme activity is retained for 12 months when stored at the recommended conditions and can endure up to 30 freeze/thaw cycles.
