CelTaq DNA Polymerase is a reliable, cost-effective solution for everyday PCR. This robust enzyme tolerates PCR inhibitors and gives consistent amplification of difficult templates (egg. mammalian genomic DNA that is rich in GC and AT content). A 12-step purification process eliminates residual host DNA resulting in ultra-low background, while effectively amplifying targets present in low copy numbers.

The enhanced 5x buffer system contains 5mM dNTPs, 15mM MgCl2, stabilizers and enhancers and does not require additional optimization. The system produces high yields under standard and fast cycling conditions to efficiently amplify targets up to 6kb in length. PCR products contains a A-tail at the 3’ end and can be used in TA cloning.

The enzyme is stable at room temperature for 4 weeks without affecting the product performance.

Store the kit at -20°C upon arrival. This product is shipped on ice blocks and can be kept at 4°C for 4 weeks without affecting the product performance. Full enzyme activity is retained for 12 months when stored at the recommended conditions and can endure up to 30 freeze/thaw cycles.
